How to Use the iOS and Android Mobile App

Shout’s mobile app makes it easy to manage customer and team conversations, invoice customers, and print shipping labels right from your phone. 

Desktop vs Mobile

Currently, Shout’s mobile app is a companion to the desktop app. While you can do most things on mobile, the following are activities that need to be done on the desktop/tablet version. Most of these things can also be done from the web browser of your mobile phone, except for managing your billing and subscriptions.

  • Upload contacts

  • Create and edit bots

  • Create and edit drip campaigns

  • Create share links

  • Create short links

  • Create quick responses

  • Manage settings, billing and subscriptions

  • Connect to Square

  • Create and edit recurring events

  • Bulk actions (e.g., edit, delete)  

Shout Home Screen 

From here you can:

  • Search contacts, lists, bots

  • Send a message or a broadcast message

  • Create a new contact or list

  • View Unread messages

Shout Dashboard

  • Click on the icon of the three lines and a triangle to view your dashboard for quick access to:

  • Scheduled messages or recurring events 

  • Drips

  • Bots

  • Orders

  • Shipping

  • Text message usage

  • Shout info – user name, customer service and marketing numbers

  • Facebook Integration

  • Instagram Integration

  • Access Shout guides  

  • Access the Help Center

  • Access Account Settings – general, subscription, and service information

  • Access your account profile

  • Chat with Support

  • Log out of your account

Here you can view:

  • Your profile

  • Shout info – user name, customer service and marketing numbers

  • Referral link


Shout Navigation

With the navigation bar, located at the bottom of the screen, you can: 

  • Get back to the home screen

  • Get to your inbox

  • Create a new message, contact, or list

  • Access contacts and lists
