How to Create Scheduled Messages

Overview

Save time and stay on top of customer or team communication by scheduling messages in advance. For example, you can schedule a message when a customer places an order, following up weeks later to prompt a reorder. You can schedule motivational messages or reminders to go out to your team daily, weekly, or monthly. This is a great way to ensure you offer great customer service and team leadership.



Schedule an Individual Message

  • Click on the + 

  • Click on Message

  • Select a contact to send the message to
  • Select a Service: Shout to Shout, Customer Service, or Marketing

  • Type your message
  • Click on the Clock icon

  • Select a date and time and click on Set Time

  • The Clock icon is now green
  • Click on the red arrow to finish scheduling the message


View or Delete Upcoming Scheduled Individual Messages

  • Click on Scheduled in the left navigation menu
  • Click on Individual Messages
  • Click on the  . . . next to the message to view, edit, or delete the message.

  • You can also view a scheduled message from an individual's contact profile.
  • You can click Send Now to send the message right away.

  • Click on Activity to view all scheduled messages to an individual.

Schedule Broadcast Messages

  • Click on the red

  • From the create menu click on Broadcast Message

  • Click on Select Recipients

  • Click on Select next to Lists, Contacts, or Tags to choose which people to include or exclude in your broadcast message
  • Click Save 

  • In this example, we clicked on Customers to include the Customers List in the broadcast message. 
  • After clicking on the name of the list, make sure to click on Select. This will redirect you to the main menu where you can save all of your selections.
  • You can click on multiple lists, tags, and contacts in the include and exclude section.

  • Select a Service: Shout to Shout, Customer Service, or Marketing

  • Compose your message
  • Click on the Clock 

  • Select a date and time and click on Set Time

  • Click on the red arrow to finish scheduling the message


View, Edit, or Delete Upcoming Scheduled Broadcast Messages

  • Click on Scheduled in the left navigation menu
  • Click on Broadcasts
  • Click on the type of scheduled message you want to view: Individual Messages, Broadcasts, Bots & Drips, or Order Followups

  • Click on the  . . . next to the message to view, edit, or delete the message.

You can also click on Send Now to send the message right away.
