How to Collect Birthdays

Overview

Use Bots to collect your contact's birthdays automatically, or manually upload them using a CSV template.

Use a Bot to Collect Birthdays

• Click on Automations in the left navigation to show a drop down menu
• Go to Bots
• Select the Bot you want to use
• Click Edit Bot
• Insert a new question in the Bot flow
• Change the question type to Contact Info
• Select Birthday 
• Click Save

Collect Birthdays Using a CSV Template

• Click on People in the left navigation to show a drop down menu
• Click on Contacts in the left navigation
• Select Upload CSV
• Click Download CSV Template
• Enter all appropriate contact information, including birthday of each contact you are uploading
• Click Choose File
• Optional: Add contacts to a list
• Optional: Add contacts to a channel
• Click Upload CSV

Manually Enter Birthdays for Contacts

• Click on People in the left navigation to show a drop down menu
• Click on Contacts in the left navigation
• Select the contact
• In the Details section, click Edit

• Enter the birthday of the contact
• Click Save Changes
