What should I do if my message fails to send in the mobile app?

Troubleshooting tips:

  • If your photo says 0%, then it did not send.
  • If your message has a red exclamation icon like figure A, instead of a black or gray check mark like figure B, then your message did not go through and you will need to retry sending the message.


How to fix the issue:

1. Long tap on the photo or text and a pop up box will come up. 

2. Tap on Retry Sending Message


  • You must wait for your picture or video to finish uploading completely, and keep your app open until the message is sent.
  • If you are having trouble sending a message, make sure you are on wifi or have good cell coverage.

3. A message box will pop up that says, Sending. Then another message box will pop up that says, Message Successfully Sent. This pop up will close pretty quickly so it is possible to miss.


4. Make sure your message has a black check mark next to it. 


Remember a grey check mark means your message has not gone through yet, and a black check mark means your message has sent. A red exclamation icon means the message has an error. You may need to retry sending the message again.
